Wonderwheel Recordings continues on it’s 2011 vinyl invasion with a killer hip-hop influenced 7” conceived and produced by head honcho Nickodemus himself.

The “A” side kicks off with “Gimme The Music” a 105 BPM Afro-Funk head-nodder featuring Brooklyn’s infamous Real Live Show on microphone duties. An irresistibly feel-good track – this one joins the ranks of all the great songs speaking on the importance of music in our lives…with enough booty-shaking backbone to balance it out!

On the flip, “New York Minute” heads into hip-hop territory as a group of hand-selected MC’s (Sadat X, Real Live Show, Rabbi Darkside, and illSpokin) pick a personal story to tell in a NY Minute, and pass the mic on to further the story from another perspective. The production is funky as hell with a big nasty break, serious organ drops, and rapid fire guitar licks – not to mention plenty of shine on the mic from all the MC’s involved. As essential 7” for the record boxes and the incoming warm weather!
