Nickodemus met master Malian Griot Baba Sissoko through previous collaborations on Wonderwheel Recordings. When discussing an album focused on all his vocals & instrumentation, he came with the concept of riding the Wonderwheel of life towards nature, peace & light. All instruments & vocals played & sung by Baba Sissoko in the Bambara language. Gitkin on guitar to give it that Mali Blues feel over Nickodemus beats.
