Following a string of successful performances at NOLA Jazz Fest and a slew of West Coast tour dates, “El Gran Camino” is the latest single by New Orleans based multi-instrumentalist Gitkin. Slowing things down with a melancholy lo-fi edge, the track features a plodding bassline, wiftful guitar licks, drum machine blips, and reverbed out organ with a rare vocal bit from Brian himself. The song is a whole vibe and a beautiful change of pace for Gitkin. New album “Golden Age” coming in October.
